Taking in the sun in Turks and Caicos
After a long commute, a couple errands, and some U.S. dollar sticker shock, we are settled in our rental condo and ready to go exploring.
Then it was off to the unbelievable beautiful white sand beach for a day of getting sand blasted and horribly burned in awkward patches. Hooray!
The water is ridiculously warm. It's about 30C on land and 28C in the water. Not a lot of escape from the heat and sun for fish belly white people like me. Except for beer. That'll cool you down!
We grabbed a quick bite at Yoshi's sushi. Tasty, but a bit overpriced like everything here. So frozen yogurt was in order for dessert.
We started by checking in at the dive shop and checking out the mural of islands.
We expect to dive West Caicos, Grace Bay, Northwest Provo, and if we are lucky and the trade winds die down, French Cay.
And already getting in trouble for our behaviour.

First dives tomorrow!
Oh, I am so glad I found your blog Ashley. Great photos. I guess I'll have to live through the Wishart's travels. Amazing adventures. Can't wait to hear all about it. Miss you guys.
